This Hatha class is a slow-paced yoga class that focuses on linking the breath with the asanas (yoga postures). Participants can expect long holds in the asanas combined with the exploration of organic movement, as well as explanations for proper alignment. Participants will be encouraged to explore the space around them while mindfully transitioning from one asana to the next. Pranayama (practice of breath control), mudras, meditation, modifications, and variations are frequently integrated into the class. All levels are welcome, although some experience is recommended.
